About this Item
10" x 13" photo album with about 550 photos, including about 25 commercial photos with the rest being snapshots and real photo postcards. The album dates from the early 1920s to the early 1930s, with most from the early 1920s, and it belonged to C. B. Elfeldt of Greeley, Colorado. Several, but not all photos are identified. There are many views from Greeley, including the Crockett Moody Co., Greeley Auto Equipment, Greeley Motor Co. race car, and other street scenes. Other identified photos include William and Arthur Elfeldt in front of a homestead, train wrecks, a visitors pass to the 89th Division of the US Army at Camp Funston, Kansas in 1918, along with some troop photos, farm trucks with the C.B. Elfeldt logo, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Grand Canyon, Pikes Peak, Million Dollar Road, Roosevelt Dam, California, including Mecca, Long Beach, Pasadena, Rose Bowl game and parade from 1923, Beverly Hills Speedway, Avalon City, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Seattle, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Buffalo Bill's grave, etc. Several people are identified including Jessie, Elda, Mary, Fern and Alice Eldfelt, Charles Knelly, Helen Jones, Mary Brown, Ernie Anderson, etc. There are some tape repairs to the cover, the first page and the last page are detached. One photo is loose and it looks like one photo is missing. You can feel the love that went into putting this album together. Seller Inventory # 816
