Synopsis

Giselle Mosley is an accomplished attorney recently making partner at Simon & Franklin - one of Atlanta's most preeminent entertainment law firms. In the midst of their demanding careers, she and two of her closest friends manage to carve out time for relaxation while catching up on each other's love interests. One of their favorite places to frequent is the renowned Apache Café where they often find escape through the creative arts. Review

Gripping!

I started and finished Inevitable in hours. I was captivated by the characters from the very beginning and desired to know more about them at every turn. I saw myself, friends, coworkers and family in this novel. When I was young I've read books with this much honesty and I felt it was a road map to what was to come as a Black, young, educated and single woman ready for the world. Now that I'm older and a little wiser this book still spoke to that part of me that still had something to learn about forgiveness, humility and rebuilding. Kudos to Bella Black for sharing the stories of women and men with such emotion, wit and fearlessness.

WOW!!!

Bella Black's "Inevitable" was beyond riveting! The story is engaging, relevant in terms of addressing real and current issues in the Black community, and very nicely done. The various plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat throughout! While I pride myself on usually being able to call the ending of a story, I was surprised-- at one point or another-- with the developing storylines for EACH character.

Thoroughly Engaging!

This book was extremely interesting in parsing the roles of men and women in relationships. Even as a married man with a successful working wife, I learned a great deal on the mental processes that accompany many women in relationships. It was a thoroughly engaging read, and I cannot wait for the next book!

A Superb Job!

OMG!! Is all really fair in love and war? You have done a superb job in the way you juxtapose each set of couples in your novel INEVITABLE! I am left hanging as I am ready to turn to a promising Inevitable II - for Aunt Gigi has already declared, "Some things are just inevitable, sweetie." But what is inevitable is yet to be known and will surely come to fruition in the author's follow up chapters - can't wait!
