About the Author
Maureen Meehan Aplin received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education before becoming a lawyer. The gruesome murder of her legal secretary compelled Ms. Aplin to write legal thrillers. She lives with her family in Southern California, where she conducts judicial hearings for both the juvenile and probate courts.
