About the Author

Born in Canada, Jini Liljeqvist was educated in Sydney, Australia and spent many years working in theatre in The USA, Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia. A published playwright and screenwriter, Jini has also published a number of short stories as well as educational articles. She now lives with her husband in the Tweed Valley, northern NSW where she writes, gardens and manages an educational publishing company. Fantasy has always fascinated Jini. She delights in the ‘what ifs’ and the ‘whys’, always seeking to go beyond what can be seen and enjoying a good mystery.

The term "page-turner" was truly true here. Also enthralling, nose-in-the-book, and can't put down. I think I also breathed and partially lived it too. Jini Liljeqvist, you created a world that was real, and palpable. Light and shadow, black and white were my main colors. Suspense was high and peaking from dark doorways and the edge of picture frames were my perspectives.

A cracker of a read. If you like personal growth, time travel murder mysteries, you'll love this one.

WHO DOESN'T LIKE A GOOD FANTASY NOVEL?! This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole entire way through, start to finish, which is hard for me. T'was such an easy read, with a great storyline. I can't recommend this book enough.

I loved this book, there wasn't ever a dull moment. I would happily read this book again and again. The whole story line kept me on the edge of my seat, dissapointed when I reached the end because I wasn't wanting it to end. Such an easy and great read. Highly recommended!
