About the Author
Recognized as one of the world’s leading adventure photographers, Chris Noble is a writer and visual communicator whose work celebrates the beauty of nature, and inspires people to live healthier, more mindful, and sustainable lives. A veteran of over thirty expeditions, ranging from Denali to Everest to the jungles of Borneo, Noble’s writing and photography have appeared in hundreds of publications worldwide, including Life, National Geographic, Newsweek, Orion, Outside, Rolling Stone, and Sports Illustrated as well as numerous books and anthologies. He has served as a contributing editor at Powder and Outdoor Photographer magazines. Commercial clients include Black Diamond, Camelbak, Nike and The North Face. Noble has been a featured speaker at the National Geographic Society, the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the Mountaineers Club, and the Outdoor Photo Expo sponsored by Photo District News.
