SUBTITLED: ( Volume 3 ) `Diesel Paint Schemes of the C P R ' .160 pages of paint scheme details for either or both the model enthusiast or the TRAIN spotter. The author worked for CN out of Winnipeg. There are locomotives representing every region of Canada and dating from 1958 to 1978 approx. - BUT there are two historical shots at the back (1936). The last 8 pages are detailed tables showing Engine Type, Builder and Year etc. Typical page-spread layout is `draughtsman's b/w diagrams on one side with coded colour schemes and actual field photos on the other side. Section of COLOUR photos at center. Cond: Red paper wrapper with colour photo of a diesel at Cathedral, B.C. on front. Back has advert. Edges mostly sharp with some minor chipping. Most corners sli. soft. Spine is fine & binding tight. Minor rubs , NO names, tears, creases, folds NOR marks. Neither sig. soiling. Excellent reference. Quote (p. 75) : " Sandwiched between two of its big sisters at St. Luc yard July 15, 1978 this is the only 44 tonner on the active service roster, though No. 10 is still used as a . ." Size: 4to.
