About the Author
Majid Mohiuddin was born and raised in New Jersey and currently resides in Boston, MA. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University. He is currently pursuing his residency in Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School.
Mr. Mohiuddin received the New Jersey Governor's Award for the Arts and Literature. While at Brown University, he was part of the prestigious Rose Writing and Rhetoric Fellows Program. He has published a number of poems and essays on a variety of topics, ranging from medicine and religion to creative writing. As of late, his interests have focused on Islamic art, architecture, history, and literature. "An Audience of One" represents his first collection of Islamic poems.
