Synopsis
This Caribbean adventure mystery follows Courtney (of the Adventures of Fraser the Yellow Dog series), her dogs Fraser and Maggie and her parents to a small island in the British Virgin Islands. Another girl, Natalie, from South Florida answers an ad to sail down to the Caribbean with Jeff and John for fun and to administer medicine to the inhabitants of various small islands. Jeff and John leave one sunny day for their medical mission and never return, leaving Natalie stranded and afraid of what might have happened to them. She puts a message into a blue bottle and eventually, Fraser leads Courtney to the bottle bobbing in the ocean near their island cottage. Can Courtney find Natalie? What happened to Jeff and John? You'll need to read the book to find out the surprising ending.

From the Author
One day while sailing our boat in the Caribbean, I decided to go kayaking for some peace and quiet.
An empty blue bottle kept hitting my kayak and since I try and pick up trash along the way, I yanked the bottle out of the sea and placed it in front of me. If bottles could speak, this one told me it was time to take the Fraser books and do a young adult novel for Fraser fans who had grown older. I so enjoyed the process of trying something new. I loved working with my new illustrator. It was fun to see the book grow from an idea into a book.
I teach this book to 5th graders in our local schools and the kids have enjoyed making their very own blue bottles, decorated and filled with special messages!
About the Author
Jill Sheeley has lived in Aspen Colorado for 39 years fulfilling a lifelong dream of writing and publishing books. To date, she has written 11 best-selling books. She lives in the mountains with her husband, Don, her daughter, Courtney and their beloved yellow Labs. She and her family spend many weeks sailing in the Caribbean on their sailboat, Snow White.
