9780988237704: Looking Through The Lens of Life

Synopsis

What is this thing call Life? Is there something greater than we are in Life? Can we accept that we are perfect just the way we are? Can we believe that we are unique and valuable? Can we trust that we are here for a purpose that is discoverable? Can we create the Life we desire and deserve? If we can, our everyday existence transforms itself as we begin to relax into the natural flow, rhythm, and harmony of Life. There is nothing more to search for 'out there' as we have all the answers inside. I invite us to look within and allow our hearts to open to the connection and unity of all that exists, everywhere present, in everything. Joy, love, peace, happiness, and wholeness come from the inside out. This is the gift of Life. It is our birthright. ~Barbara Rush

Review

"At certain moments in our life, if we are lucky or blessed, we receive the perfect gift. It comes unexpectedly, a surprise, something powerful in its simplicity, yet uniquely different from anything you have seen or imagined. Barbara Rush has spent years collecting words and images that reflect the luminosity of the soul. She has woven them into a tapestry of inspiration, comfort, nourishment, and delight--and offers it as such a gift. Take time with these pages and rest gently in the spaces between them. Find refuge in the unexpected places, and above all, use these pages as prayers. Contemplate the beauty within yourself and the beauty within all beings everywhere." --Wayne Muller, Author of "A Life of Being, Having and Doing Enough"

"Looking through the lens of life touches the soul with images and quotations that will connect you with the Great Spirit within all creation...and within yourself. In these times, when it's easy to lose track of what really matters, this book will open your heart to the indestructible vitality, power, and beauty still singing its song at the center of it all. you will be renewed and re-enchanted by this gorgeous book!" --Dr. Roger W. Teel, Senior Minister & Spiritual Director at Mile Hi Church, Denver CO
