About the Author

Sean Bloomfield was born in Florida in 1979. Although baptized Catholic, he was raised without religion and instead found solace in nature and the creative arts. He earned a scholarship to study writing and film at The University of Tampa, where his prose and films won several awards. He set his sights on Hollywood, but a visit to Medjugorje in the year 2000 changed his life and brought him back to the Church. His experiences there inspired him to devote his life to helping others discover the love of God. Sean has since produced eight documentaries about Marian apparitions. He lives in Florida with his wife, Lisa, and their three children, but he and his family feel most at home in Medjugorje where they live for several months out of the year.

Having produced and directed many highly-praised film documentaries about the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin at the village of Medjugorje, Sean has authored Dear Children, a beautifully written and informative book for youth on the apparitions. Sean has hit the mark with wonderful illustrations and important highlights, focusing on the young teen visionaries.
