Serial Killer. To most, the thought of such an inhuman creature among us, much less hunting us, is a frightening thing to imagine. But what happens when these predators turn their sights from us, to each other. The Society meets once a year. During this gathering they exchange information, stories and, souvenirs of their victims. They are a society of serial killers. The purpose of The Society is to ensure the well being of their 'kind.' Yet, all is not well. Within The Society, someone is hunting the hunters. One by one, the predators are being eliminated in ways only they could have devised. James Felton Kellogg has been the patriarch of The Society for decades. James learns that death is working its way up the ladder to him. Not to be outdone, James embarks on his own killing spree, taking the body count away from his nemesis and meeting him head on.

John Conn was born in the wilds of the South Bronx in 1949. He learned early on, that being swift of foot and agile in dodging and ducking down alleyways and over roofs tops was a beneficial trait to have.
In High School, academics weren't always his top priority. But applying his dodging and ducking techniques in the gymnastic arena, he became captain of the team that was to take the New York City championships. During this time, he also started to study Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Karate.
From 1968-71, he interrupted his martial arts studies, joining the United States Marine Corps. There, he graduated from the Combat Still Photography School and was also a graduate of NBCD School (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense School). During his tour of duty, he became a Presidential Photographer for the Marine Corps-Nixon era.
Once honorably discharged, he grew some hair and attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he earned a BFA in photography with honors. During this time, he continued with his martial arts studies-adding Kendo to the list-and met his now ex-wife Mary. In years to come, she would give him two great sons and eventually, a divorce.
In those years leading up to and passing those events, he worked as a freelance photographer covering just about everything from riots in South Africa, underwater photography, interiors, corporate, and even his ex-wife's wedding when she remarried-what a guy. His work has appeared in the New York Times Sunday Magazine, Imax Films, Time/Life Books, Village Voice, Shutterbug Magazine, American Photographer, Ocean Realm Magazine, Discover Diving Magazine, Dive Travel Magazine, Human Rights Magazine, Africa Report Magazine to name a very few.
John maintains a summer home on the east coast of the Bronx that he shares with his albino ferret, Monty. A 5th degree Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, John painfully passes on his knowledge to his students.
a brilliant storyteller who constantly surprises the readers because the audience is unable to tell the good people from monsters -- Harriet Klausner, Baryon Magazine 91
