About the Author
Max Corvo was born in Sicily and came with his family to Middletown, Connecticut, in the mid-1920s. He volunteered in 1941 and was selected as an Italian speaker by the OSS. He became head of OSS Secret Intelligence in Italy during World War II in Italy,
