About the Author
Arnaldur Indridason est né à Reykjavik en 1961. Journaliste et critique de cinéma, il est l’auteur de sept romans noirs, dont plusieurs sont des best-sellers internationaux : La Cité des jarres (2005, prix Cœur noir et prix Mystère de la critique), La Femme en vert (2006, Grand Prix des lectrices de Elle), La Voix (2007), L’Homme du lac (2008, Prix du polar européen Le Point), Hiver arctique (2009), Hypothermie (2010) et Betty (2011). Il est considéré aujourd’hui comme l’un des plus grands noms du polar scandinave, aux côtés de Stieg Larsson et Henning Mankell.
