A limited edition copy of Andrew Young's play in verse, 'The Adversary'. A limited edition work, limited to two hundred copies. 'The Adversary' is a dramatic play in verse featuring Satan and Job. Written by Andrew Young. Young was a poet and clergyman who focused on nature poetry, with his collections including 'Winter Harvest', 'The Bird Cage', and 'The White Blackbird'. Later in his career he wrote two long religious poems, as well was prose works on botany and the landscape. In the original publisher's paper covered boards with flyleaves. Externally, generally smart. A little loss to the spine label. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spots. Very Good. Seller Inventory # 639P10
