Front and back covers feature a pattern from Missoni-Africa collection. Covers have light rubbing and minuscule wear to edges, tips, and front outer joint, else clean and intact. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with black-and-white printed photographs and illustrations in black-and-white and color. Unpaginated, c. 68 pp., including illustrations. Fascinating catalog about the Missoni-Africa collection from the luxury fashion house, Missoni, based in Varese, Italy. Missoni was founded by its namesakes, Ottavio "Tai" Missoni (1921-2013) and Rosita Missoni in 1953. Ottavio was also an Olympic hurdler who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics. Missoni, as a brand, is perhaps best-known for its knitwear. The Missoni-Africa collection took inspiration from the body stocking and aesthetics of sportswear and traditional African fashion. Essays by Anna Piaggi and Gianni Brera. Brera's essay is a brief biography and tribute to Ottavio. Piaggi's essay is about the Missoni-Africa collection.
