Very nice, clean book marred only by a bit of foxing along a 3" section of the outer side edge of front cover only.(see photo) Fairly light, so not too intrusive. Otherwise book is clean and bright with no toning to pages or to white portions of covers, no bumps to boards and no names or writing other than that of the author. Author SIGNED and inscribed book thus on front free endpaper: "Book #1565. To -------, With Best Wishes, J. Courter." Illustrated throughout with both black and white and color photos, as well as facsimile advertising from the Aladdin Company. Covers the history of the company, as well as their products which include kerosene mantle lamps, electric lamps, and Alocite. Also includes drawings of the lamps' parts Book measures 9"x11-1/4" and has 168 pages. Laid-in are a price list and letter for other Alladin collector books by the author and a membership brochure for the Aladdin Knights which appears to be a collectors' group.
