Photographic yearbook album for the Amherst Class of 1882, photographed by the legendary Pach Brothers New York photography firm. This copy belonging to Charles Wilson Loomis. In the 1870s Pach begain operating mobile photography studios in the Northeast, photographing the graduating classes at Amherst as well as Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Columbia, Vassar, and West Point. Contemporary brown morocco over beveled boards, with brass clasps, gilt title ("Amherst 82 C.W. Loomis") on front cover.
