A scare copy of Edmund C. Johnson's 'Annuities to the Blind'. Bound in cloth with gilt lettering. Scarce. A third, enlarged and corrected edition. The purpose of this text was to 'assist the poor industrious, and deserving blind' in obtaining grants from charities, which distributed money in the form of pensions to blind men and women. In a cloth binding. Externally very smart. Slight wear to the extremities, including some bumping. Internally firmly bound. Pages clean and bright with the very occasional handling mark. Very Good.
