Dust jacket condition preserved within clear plastic non-adhesive protective covering. 'Old Justin Randal was determined that his grandson Jack should not build a factory in Roseville, for the old man loved the town and regarded it as his own. But Belle Porter entered the scene, and feeling more than common regard for Jack, she set out to break old Justin's resistance. She worked in a local store, and when, on Justin's orders, she was sacked, she had no alternative but to take work in the not-yet-operational factory. There came two strangers to the town also. Their aim was soon clear. It was no less than a bid to move in and take the factory over.
