Near Fine cloth 14th edition with gilt lettering on spine and black lettering on front cover and Fair DJ in protective mylar cover. Dated 1940 at the end of the preface, this is the 14th edition. Spine is straight and tight, gilt lettering darkened but clear and legible, shelf wear to top and bottom of spine, 1inch tear to top of cover, all corners sharp. No markings, creases, or tears. DJ is Fair, with significant tears, some closed, others not (1 inch V shaped tear at top of front cover, three inch tear at bottom of back cover, plus two creases across front DJ cover.
