About this Item

- Ousley, Odille and Russell, David H. OUR BIG RED STORYBOOK (Revised Edition). Boston, N. Y., etc.: Ginn and Company, (1957). This is the giant, folio classroom presentation version of this great Ginn and Company basic reader with great color illustrations throughout. It is housed in a heavy, red, printed, buckram ring binder which was designed to be set up on the teacherís desk. In this binder there are actually two complete 30 page sets of the same book- the first one showing a good deal of handling wear and soiling from having been used. The second set of thirty pages is clean, bright and fresh. Characters include: Tom, Betty, Susan, Flip the Dog, a stuffed bunny, Mother and Father, the airplane, and pony- all brilliantly and colorfully illustrated on heavy cardstock sheets that are 24" x 17," and would actually frame up nicely.
