Small pamphlet; dust jacket contains black text with illustration by José Cisneros in adobe ink on cream paper; one small scuff mark each on front and back cover, else fine. Book covers are textured embossed cream paper with decorative design in adobe ink surrounding black lettering. Inscription by publisher in blue ink on first free end paper: "For Mrs. Margarite Grillo, with best wishes! - Jack D. Rittenhouse"; interior book clean w/ tight binding. Handset type edition limited to 800 copies. This pamphlet contains two accounts of the famous 1884 New Mexico gunfight, in which Elfego Baca withstood a siege by 80 cowboys and lived to tell the tale.
