Blue-backed chart of the strait between the islands of Java and Bali, Indonesia, in excellent condition. One short tear in bottom margin. Title is across the top border and quite decorative. Shows roughly the western half of the island of Bali, to Kotta (now Kuta). There are several text notes, including one which reads "Caution: This chart is chiefly from Dutch surveys. As there has been no satisfactory survey of Bali Strait, nor of the coast of Java or Bali in the vicinity, it must be used with more than ordinary care. The buoys are uncertain." Imray chart No. 284.
