Seller: Between the Covers-Rare Books, Inc. ABAA, Gloucester City, NJ, U.S.A.
Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. First edition. Stiff wrappers. Faint wear on the front wrap and a couple of tiny foxed spots, just about fine. One of 240 letterpress copies. Warmly Inscribed by the author to former Poet Laureate Dan Hoffman. Laid in is a Typed Letter Signed from the author to Hoffman, discussing, among other things, the republication of a book of Vietnam War poetry edited by Ehrhart (after trouble with the first publisher), and his respect for Hoffman's poetry. A carbon copy of Hoffman's reply, also included, compliments this "elegant chapbook," and is a thoughtful and clearly friendly response to Ehrhart's letter. A nice association between two noted poets. Seller Inventory # 437992
