This first format book (gold lettering) is in VG- condition. It has a slight lean with slight bumps and fabric damage to the front corners, a small ding to the fore edge of the front board, and virtually no wear to the lower edges of the boards. Head and heel of the spine are slightly bumped with no fabric damage (see photo). The rear board has has light soiling. The front panel has two tiny dots of white in it but it is otherwise completely intact. Overall, the exterior is rather clean: spine has moderate darkening whereas the rear board has light general soiling. Except for an inked name on the front paste down and a home made 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" sign out paper on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, and page damage; several pages have small non-intrusive stains. Paper is lightly toned and very flexible; hinges are strong; frontis + 3 is intact. Seller Inventory # BMR-2019-12-2-3
