Smith, Joseph. The Book of Mormon. Rare 6th European edition. Liverpool: Brigham Young Jun., 1866. 6th European edition. 563pp. 16mo. Book condition: A very good copy with gentle bumping and rubbing. Lightly soiled endsheets. Front pastedown has a contemporary name and city written on it. Pages are very clean with subtle yellowing and occasional light spotting. Leaf containing pages 3 and 4 is detached and laid in. It's fore edge is somewhat tattered, not affecting text. An extremely attractive and fully unsophisticated copy of an exceptionally scarce edition of The Book of Mormon. One of two copies we've seen in 25 years.
