This means if you buy from us what you see is what you actually get. Stock Images are OK for brand new books, but they may bear little or no relation to what a second hand book looks like and are certainly not a guide to its condition. Terms of Sale:
Returns strictly in accordance with AbeBooks' Return Policy. We do not supply books on an approval or return basis. Refund amounts are based on the return reason.
Shipping Terms:
We normally send via Royal Mail, 2nd class without insurance or tracking. Urgent rates on request. Overseas rates given as guidance and apply to books of low weight. In order to keep within quoted charges we use Economy International postage outside of Europe and this can mean extended delivery times. Deliveries to Australasia and South America have been extensively delayed in recent times. International Standard delivery is used where purchaser opts for the more expensive postal rate. In all cases, but especially for international sales, additional postage costs may be requested for heavier books. For multiple or especially heavy orders (i.e. over 2 kilos) within the UK we may use a courier service and so extra charges may be requested.
Our books are despatched in high-quality recyclable paper-based corrugated containers or cardboard parcels as appropriate.
