Border Bookshop in West Yorkshire sells second hand, antiquarian and new. We have a bit of everything and plenty of school stories and annuals. This database represents a tiny fraction of what we have physically. We are adding listings all the time but entire sections may yet to be added. Please ask for photos if needed if you are unsure of condition. Please bear in mind most images are stock images and my item may not match the image, in cover or condition. I have my international postage rates set to include tracking currently because of recent post office issues. if if makes your book unaffordable you can ask me for economy post and I can adjust your shipping rate so it takes less from you account. Please not this only applies to books under 1kg as that is what the shipping matrix is based upon. over 1kg may cost more. I have reduced internal postage to £0 for additional items for the comic collector as extra comics don't really weigh much more, please bear in mind in buying additional books if they go over 2kg the postage will increase. I am currently working on changing the additional item postages for international postage also due to adding the comics stock here; likewise anything under 2kg will just be one postage price so I will reduce to reflect actual cost by weight. Same again though if it goes over 2kg it will have to be sent via a courier and be more.

30 day return guarantee, with full refund including original shipping costs for up to 30 days after delivery if an item arrives misdescribed or damaged. With this in mind I will send photos of the item to all overseas purchasers and won't dispatch until I have confirmation that you have seen it and okayed it, please ask for photographs of the item if you are not sure in UK. Return costs are expensive especially overseas and small bookshops struggle to make money as it is.
Shipping Terms
Postage costs vary according to weight and size of the items. I use royal mail and only charge the actual costs. I don't have any control over when international orders will arrive especially if sent economy. They quote 2-12 weeks time for economy post which is the cheapest postage costs which are almost never enough to cover the actual costs. If it's a thin light books it may be cheaper and more affordable to send on the faster services. Be aware that large heavy books and sets may incur extra postage charges especially if postage is international. If you think it's a heavy books please confirm postage price before purchase if cost is an issure.
