A tight, generally fine example,spine gilt lettering dulled. Highly considered, comprehensive guide to breaking and riding horses for the traditional filed of dressage as well as military and polo usage. Fillis was Ecuyer en Chef to the Central Cavalry School at St. Petersburg and gave rideing exhibitions before most of the late 19th/early 20th century European monarchs and heads of state.
