Approximately 5 ¼ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition some creases down the spine, worn top and tail. Joints good condition gently rubbed and creased. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards good condition red leather boards with gilt titles to the front, some black marks to the front and rear. Page edges good condition top edge speckled, fore and bottom edges tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound. Paste downs good condition plain, the front paste down has the initials J.C. on it, foxing around the edges. End papers good condition plain, the front end paper has the signature of a previous owner dated 1835, tanned and foxed, the front end paper has the top right hand corner missing. Title good condition tanned and foxed. Pages good condition a number of words throughout the text have been underlined in pencil, the name John Symmons, Milford has been stuck in at the top of the dedication page, pages are tanned and foxed throughout.
