270p; ads in back. A red cloth hardcover book in very good condition. Small rub marks here and there on the cover. Early owner's inscription on front endpaper and another owner's stamp on the title page. Otherwise, text clean and binding tight. Basil King (1859-1928) was an Anglican priest who retired from the clergy due to ill health and became an author of both novels and non-fiction.
