C.H. Foertmeyer was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1949. After graduating from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, he returned home to Cincinnati. He and his wife raised a lovely daughter, Jennifer, in their Lockland home. Today, Mr. Foertmeyer divides his time between a full-time job and writing.
