Antique copy of "Cape Cod" by HENRY DAVID THOREAU. 1886; Houghton, Mifflin, Co.; Boston. A portrait of Thoreau has been affixed to the front pastedown. Gilt top page edges. There is a 13-page publisher's catalog at the back. Condition: There are a couple small, shallow dents at the right edge of the front cover. Small cloth tears at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean and nearly appear unread with no notable issues found.
