news1 This is an undated but circa 35 years ago origin postcard of the award winning photograph called Io Non Ho Mani Che Mi Accrezzino Il Viso by Mario Giacomelli who was born in 1925 and after the war turned all his skills into photo award pictures which this is one of his most famous. Mario was around the 1950s developing a style characterized by bold compositions and stark contrasts. In 1955 he was discovered in Italy by Paolo Monti, and beginning in 1963, became known in the USA which this was one of his very first works premiered in the USA after being made in 1962 and exhibited in 1963 - it made him famous in the States where other similar photographs were made and exhibited but this work Io Non Ho Mani Che Mi Accrezzino Il Viso began them all - the postcard was published in Italy and gathered by a collector of some of the best known photographic art in history (see my other items for sale) and is unused and mint.
