Book has very ligh wear and light aging. Former owner's name and date in green ink on ffep. Square and securely bound. Jacket has some minor edge wear, including a short, closed tear on the back top edge and some suning along top edges. Spine of jacket does not have the typical fading. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 180+ pages; Experimental, but readable and funny, novel by Johnson who committed suicide in 1973. Th is was his penultimate novel. It concerns a man who creates a double-entry system for the events of his own life, which leads to stronger and stronger acts to rectify indignities.
