Orig. published in 1942, this is a slightly later printing c. late 1950s, listing to ND#37 & DG#20 in front matter; DJ lists to DG #20 on front flap, ND#35 on rear flap & back DJ. With blue tweed cloth-covered boards, this hardcover 12mo has 25 chapters, 216 pages, flashlight endpapers, & plain frontispiece. Condition is VG: very clean with light soil to fore edge, binding strong & square, pages lightly tanned but completely unmarked, hinges secure. Corners slightly bumped, with light fading & rubbing to extremities. The unclipped DJ is Good: front is colorful & bright, but spine shows much rubbing, with chipping at both ends of spine & all corners; nicely protected in new mylar cover FREE!
