Brown cloth, 6.25 x 3.75 inches, 340 pages, "Published by order of the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Maryland." Spine missing, but a clean readable copy of the laws and canons in effect in antebellum Maryland. The Church of England was established by law in Maryland in 1692 and the legislature continued after the Revolution to make provision for the Episcopal churches in that state. The Compilation collected these laws with the Constitutions and Canons of General Convention and of the Diocese. Seller Inventory # 000231
