tan wraps w/ black printing. 415 pgs w/ four large fold-out maps. text in parallel French and English. Title page has the printed and glued plate of Max Ascoli, the renowned Italian-American professor of political philosophy known for his assocation with The New School For Social Research. Appears to be the final, revised copy with all four maps; maps remain precisely folded. These copies were printed specifically for delegates and those of global, political influence leading up to the Treaty Of Versailles. A reading and rebinding copy; though, remains a wonderful historical piece and those of Ascoli's work. Fair (covers tanned/darkened, dampstained, scuffed & smudged; edges torn & chipped. covers detached. spine binding paper completely eroded. spine binding glue & three binding threads holding, but there are numerous splits to textblock. opening, smaller summary page detached, but remains independetly bound. pgs various tanned; with occasional of scuffs, smudges, marks. pg edges & corners various rubbed & chipped).
