Spy thriller set at the beginning of World War II. Second printing, April 1940. Gently bumped with a damp stain to the lower and fore edges of the blue boards, foxing to the fore edge of the text block. Spine slightly cocked, binding solid. Jacket rubbed with small chips and tears, and a pair of 1 1/2" tears with creases to the spine heel, with internal tape repair. Flaps creased, in Brodart. Seller Inventory # 220310
