Octavo plum gilt roan (one hinge cracked/ head&foot of spine chipped & worn/spine faded/tips worn) vii+[i] +595pp. Inscription on FEP and 1" tear to one plate, with old repair, and faint corner damp marking to a few others never near to printed area. *Unlike Dickens' novels, also Phiz illustated and published by this publisher, this work seems to have been printed on less acid paper as it is not so prone to foxing.
