Hardback, 22.5x28cm, 299pp plus fold-out at rear. Good condition in green cloth. Rebacked in green with plain black endpapers. Worn through at corners, flecked and scuffed at covers. Owner's stamp at prelims. Age-toned pages, with occasional foxing, small marks and faint thumbprints. Plates lightly yellowed at edges. 1cm closed tear and associated crease at lower edge of page between 60-61. 3.5cm closed tear at lower edge of p61. 1cm closed tear and associated crease at lower edge of page between 76-77. 5cm scuff mark near upper edge of p166. Pages 199-202 present but repaired; an old tape repair has left bleed marks, and the free edges are a little roughed up. One dogeared corner at fold-out's free edge. Seller Inventory # 107302

The boards are lightly scuffed to the front board and have a small indentation in the rear board. HARDCOVER. Barclay and Sharland, 1933. First edition. A very good copy of this scarce item of Western Australian goldfields history. The original cloth boards are in very good condition with only light signs of aging. The gilt lettering to the front panel is still bright. This copy has a new spine in green cloth. The original endpapers and folding map are also very good. Light foxing to the edges and scattered throughout. Otherwise this is a lovely clean and crisp copy with no ownership marks and in a strong and straight binding. Very collectible in this condition. Scans available if required.
