Quarterbound, black leather with marbled brown paper. If the book had titles on the spine, they have completely worn away. Edge, corner and surface wear but still square and securely bound. Some toning and foxing on interior. Overall, a solid copy of this rather difficult to find book. This book deals with the history and organization of the Presbyterian Church in Georgia along with good biographies of deceased ministers, including C. C. Jones, Sr. , Isaac Watts Waddel and William McWhir. This is the 1869 edition which is almost certainly the first even though the book was copyrighted in Atlanta. All copies in libraries and the DeRenne listing are this book. WorldCat locates only 12 copies and some of them are missing parts or have library markings.
