First edition, limited issue, number 136 of 250. This is the author's third published work. The poems were all written in Kathmandu between 1973-74. Petra Vogt, a German actress who worked with the Living Theatre, was Cohen's collaborator and muse for this title. The couple had met in New York, and spent several years travelling India and Nepal together. Tall octavo. Original cloth backed wire-stitched black wrappers, black and silver frames and illustrations to wrappers, silver titles to front, purple endpapers. With 7 photographic illustrations of Vogt by Cohen, triple ruled borders to pages. Head of spine a touch bumped, a few marks and faint scratches to wrappers, tips a little creased.
