This book is the second, 1899, edition. It is square, has very lightly bumped corners, mild crimping at head and heel of spine, and very light general wear; also, the front cover image of a boy in cap and gown has a bit of a 3-dimension feel to it. Interior has strong hinges, frontis +3, clean and supple pages, and the only markings in the book are a rather enigmatic inscription on the FFEP and a small purple book store stamp on the lower hinge-side corner of the front paste down.
