Presented here is an interesting side-story in publishing history. "The Albatross" was founded in 1932 to produce the first mass-market paperbounds, presented in a standardized design. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition Thus. Yellow wraps with black lettering, which under the system makes this a "psychological novel." Moderate soiling, creasing, and a darkened spine. The text is clean; 255 pages. Several pages of publisher's explanations, current in-print, and coming attractions. The last few pages are present, but loose in the bind.
