With an introduction by Nigel Playfair. Book plate front end paper. Slight chipping spine bottom. The Duenna was first acted and sung at Covent Garden in 1794 (although it was written by Sheridan in 1775). Recreated for the stage in December, 1924, at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith.
