Theatrical producer, director, composer and songwriter, Earl Carroll (1893-1948) was a pioneer in the "supper club" concept. In 1922, he built the first Earl Carroll Theater in New York. 16 years later he opened another on Sunset Boulevard, immediately becoming a Hollywood hotspot. Booklet profusely illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs of various shows performed at the Theater. Other images show performers, Carroll, the interior of the Sunset Theater & his farm in the San Fernando Valley. ".this program is a lasting souvenir of a glamorous visit to Earl Carroll's.
