About this title

Set fifty years in the future in one of the largest, most influential hubs of the 21st century, a revolution is brewing. FBI agents Marc McCready and Morris Ignacio are sent to investigate a downtown riot, unaware that this is just the beginning of the chaotic upheaval about to come. The cloned wife of Ordosoft CEO Mason Huston may be the victim of a terrorist infobombing, while his rebellious daughter, Ashley, is about to uncover a conspiracy that could shake the very foundations of their world.

About the Author:

Joshua Ortega is an expert in the field of emerging technologies, privacy and surveillance issues, and the study of counterintelligence and terrorism. He began his career in journalism in 1992, covering technology, culture, and government for various newspapers and magazines. He has been featured several times on NPR discussing the implications of new technologies such as the "biochip" (microchip for humans) on our often-conflicting experiences of both liberty and security.

Joshua Ortega was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and now lives in Seattle, Washington. Along the way he has worked at theaters and co-ops, managed apartment buildings, written for numerous magazines and newspapers, promoted musical acts, and has even received paychecks from the corporate giant known as Microsoft.
