The wraps are delicate and can chip easily, with some chips of the edge and lower corner. 47 clean, crisp, and tightly bound pages, followed by 6 pages of publisher's advertising. Enclosed in the book is a blue advertising sheet measuring about 4-1/2 by 7-3/4 inches, one side of which advertises the Astronomical Lantern invented by Dr. James Freeman Clarke, which is folded in half, with about a one inch split in the fold.
