About this Item
Twelfth thousand. 16mo. Publisher's green cloth gilt-stamped spine title. Extremities bumped and rubbed, still a nice very good copy. Calverley was a legend at Cambridge for both his scholarship and his hijinks, and was slated for greatness before a tragic skating accident rendered him an invalid. This is considered his best work, humorous verse and especially his parody of Browning. Seller Inventory # 399844
